Portfolio: Dreams

Many years ago I had a series of recurring dreams. In each dream I was in a courtroom being aggressively questioned by an angry attorney. Repeatedly he asked, "Why should we believe you? What do you do for a living? Just what do you do?" Each time I gave the same answer — "I cut out pieces of paper, hold them together and see what they look like." After having this dream a half dozen times, I decided it was time to cut out pieces of paper, hold the together and see what they look like. Before you are some of the results. My English major background usually lurks somewhere behind my collages. Many pieces start with a title and grow from that point. The words — and dreams — lead to the visuals.
